Wireless Card for Linux,
Bought this card because it has been useful to other Linux users. It worked right out of the box but not 100% reliably. I then installed the Windows XP drivers using NdisWrapper and it has worked well since. My operating system is Ubuntu 10.04.

This card was easy to install, but it seems to have trouble maintaining a connection to an access point that is quite close. Not clear if this is a protocol problem (it’s talking to a very modern Cisco wifi router) or a signal reception problem, but it just doesn’t work well for me. It stays up for a few minutes, looks like it’s working great, then suddenly drops the connection and has to reestablish.

I ordered 3 Belkin F5D7000 802.11g 54M wireless cards. Order processing and shipping very good.
2 of the cards work great, 1 card works fine if I do not hibernate my desktop, I need to do a
complete shut down in order to have card hook-up to my wireless router on start up.
It will not hook-up from hibernate every-time.
